After Testing EV - Model SX300

"Fuzzy" sound is being caused by the woofer.
Over time it has gone out of tolerance and has developed a "rub" where the voice coil is coming into contact with the magnet assembly.
The speaker needs to be re-coned, a process where all the existing paper and glue is removed from the speaker and replaced with new.

We often receive parts for several repairs at one time, many times at the very end of our work day.
Once we receive your repair parts, your speaker will be repaired in the order it was received.

Re-coning requires time to clean old paper and glue before new speaker kit can be assembled, as well as time for the new glues to dry and cure before the speaker can be sounded for testing.

Thank you for your patience during this process, once your repair is completed and tested, you will be notified here (as well as a phone call) letting you know to pick up your speaker.
