Your Part is back-ordered until March.
I called JBL and spoke with the warehouse manager
sometimes he will pull something from production for me
but they just don't have any of the re-cone kits for your speaker right now
and are waiting on a shipment to their warehouse.

You part arrived today!


With all the re-organization at JBL over the past Holiday Season,
it makes sense that they lost track of a few parts...
Luckily one of them was your re-cone kit.
Turns out they did have some to ship.

We often receive parts for several repairs at one time, many times at the very end of our work day.
Once we receive your repair parts, your speaker will be repaired in the order it was received.

Re-coning requires time to clean old paper and glue before new speaker kit can be assembled, as well as time for the new glues to dry and cure before the speaker can be sounded for testing.

Thank you for your patience during this process, once your repair is completed and tested, you will be notified here (as well as a phone call) letting you know to pick up your speaker.
